We spent NYE with people who meant the world to us.
It was a quiet affair.
We had home-made beef stout pie and peas. Then, we hopped into the 7-seater and headed down town to the Yarra to watch the fireworks at 9pm. It wasn't flash, we were on the other side of the river. We drove home and tucked the boys into bed.
At the struck of midnight, we hugged one another, us, my brother Kelvin and his girlfriend Ching Mei and wished each other well.
It wasn't much but it was special.
